Excerpt From An Article About Dr. Williams
Born and raised in Atlanta, Ga., Dr. Bill Williams began his successful path in dental medicine first at Auburn University, then at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in Augusta.
That path led him to the opening of his first endeavor, a private clinic he operated for 23 years in Stone Mountain where he built a nationally acclaimed dental practice and taught post graduate TMJ, reconstruction and orthodontic courses to dentists for 10 years.
“I love seeing people’s lives transformed as they receive their new smile. It’s my passion,” Dr. Williams says. He opened his current practice, Suwanee Dental Care, in 1997 along with his Web site company, Web Centric Dental Marketing and Design.
Dr. Williams is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and a Master of the International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics. He will receive his mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry in August.
He also belongs to the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS) and the International Academy of Sports Dentistry.
Dr. Williams was named the 2005 Small Business Person of the Year in Gwinnett and along with his partners, Drs. Golik and Smith, Suwanee Dental Care has been named “Best of Gwinnett” for three straight years.
In addition to being a reputable dentist, Dr. Williams is a devoted humanitarian. “We not only do international mission trips to Kenya, Honduras, Tanzania and Haiti, but we also help local people in need of dental care,” Dr. Williams says.
He works with the Hebron Dental Clinic for indigent patients, the Brighter Smiles for Brighter Futures Campaign against breast cancer with Gwinnett Medical and is the dentist for the Extreme Makeover Team, dedicated to giving women of the Lucy Hall Freedom House a new lease on life.
He is also a Give Back A Smile dentist for the AACD Abused Women Care program and he volunteers as the team dentist for the Gwinnett Gladiators hockey team.

Suwanee Dental Care voted Best of Gwinnett eight years in a row!
